Eddie Dee Williams is an award-winning author and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist from Valdosta, Georgia who believes the greatest battles aren’t fought with fists or powers… but within the human heart.
By day, he helps individuals and couples navigate identity, trust, leadership, and the fragile architecture of relationships. By night, he channels those same dynamics into explosive superhero storytelling.
The result is The Affinity Saga, a cinematic science-fantasy series where power collides with loyalty, love becomes a strategic liability, and every heroic decision carries a psychological cost.
Inspired by the high-stakes storytelling of Mission: Impossible, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Power Rangers, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Ocean’s Eleven, Eddie blends action, humor, romance, and emotional depth into stories that explore what happens when ordinary people are forced to carry extraordinary power.
His debut novel, The Affinity Theory, earned multiple honors including:

Born and raised in Valdosta, Georgia, Eddie is the oldest of five siblings and the son of Dr. Charles E. Vinson, Sr. and Evelyn D. Vinson.
He is also a devoted Christian, husband, father of two daughters, and the unofficial babysitter of his daughters’ dogs.
Through both therapy and storytelling, Eddie explores one enduring question:
What happens when power tests the bonds that hold us together?

Eddie Dee Williams is the author of The Affinity Saga which includes The Affinity Theory and, the recently released, Echoes. This indie author is rearing to go with high energy and excitement for his Elite Unit of superheroes. A relationship therapist by profession, Eddie uses his knowledge of relationship dynamics to inform his writing, particularly character development. Therefore, he knows the value of consulting his wife on if or when the writing is hitting its mark!
